Michael W. Cartelli
Founding Partner
Michael W. Cartelli received his undergraduate degree in Political Science from
Montclair State University. He then went on to pursue his law degree at Seton Hall University
School of Law. After receiving his law degree, he clerked for the Honorable Richard S. Rebeck,
J.S.C. of the Superior Court of New Jersey, Middlesex County. He thereafter focused his practice
on insurance defense and civil litigation.
Mr. Cartelli has over 25 years of experience defending insurance carriers and corporate
clients in matters involving coverage and insurance contract disputes, general and automobile
negligence, products liability, premises liability, construction liability, wrongful death, municipal
liability under Title 59, and civil rights defense under 42 U.S.C. § 1983. He now leads the firm's
complex civil litigation practice, guiding matters from inception through trial and appeal, and
mentors junior attorneys on litigation strategy and civil practice procedure. Mr. Cartelli is
admitted to practice law in New Jersey and New York (inactive), as well as in the United States
District Court for the District of New Jersey and the United States Court of Appeals for the Third
Circuit.

Angelica S. Liem
Managing Partner
Angelica S. Liem received her undergraduate degree from Rutgers College, where she
was named a Garden State Scholar. She then went on to pursue her law degree at Rutgers Law
School, where she served as an Articles Editor for the Law Review and as an Instructor for Legal
Research and Writing. After receiving her law degree, Mrs. Liem focused her practice on
insurance defense litigation.
Mrs. Liem has over 30 years of experience representing insurance companies and their
insureds. She has handled matters involving automobile negligence, personal injury, general
negligence, professional liability, products liability, and Personal Injury Protection (PIP) benefit
claims, managing litigation from inception through settlement or trial. Mrs. Liem also serves as a
Court-Appointed Arbitrator for Union County. She is admitted to practice law in New Jersey and
in the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey.

Ida C. Genova
Of Counsel
Ida C. Genova received her undergraduate degree in Classical Studies from Seton Hall
University. She then went on to pursue her law degree at Seton Hall University, School of Law.
While attending law school, Ms. Genova was active on the Moot Court team. After receiving her
law degree, she clerked for the Honorable Jose L. Fuentes. J.S.C., J.A.D. She thereafter focused
her practice in insurance defense.
Ms. Genova has over 25 years of experience representing insurers and insureds. She has
defended claims in premises liability defense, medical malpractice, construction defect and both
commercial and personal lines automobile cases. Ms. Genova is admitted to practice law in New
York and New Jersey as well as in the District of New Jersey.

Kacey L. DiNorscio
Associate
Kacey L. DiNorscio received her undergraduate degree in criminal justice from Johnson
& Wales University. She then went on to pursue her law degree at Widener University Delaware
Law School, where she graduated cum laude and was named to the Dean's Honors List. While
attending law school, Mrs. DiNorscio was a Finalist in the Moot Court Honor Society's
Distinguished Jurist Competition and participated in the Alternative Dispute Resolution Society
Negotiation Competition. After receiving her law degree, she clerked for the Honorable Garry J.
Furnari, J.S.C. and the Honorable Craig R. Harris, J.S.C. in the Family Part, where she worked
on non-dissolution, domestic violence, adoption, and children-in-court matters. She then served
as an Assistant Deputy Public Defender with the New Jersey Office of the Public Defender,
defending parents against allegations of abuse and neglect brought by the Division of Child
Protection and Permanency and representing clients through motion hearings, mediations, and
contested trials.
Mrs. DiNorscio now practices as an Associate Attorney, handling an active litigation
caseload that includes discovery, depositions, settlement negotiations, and courtroom advocacy
as lead counsel in special civil trials. She is admitted to practice law in New Jersey.

David A. Siegel
Associate
David A. Siegel received his undergraduate degree in Political Science, with a minor in
Statistics, from Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, where he was a Fellow at the
Eagleton Institute of Politics. He then went on to pursue his law degree at Rutgers Law School,
earning a Corporate and Business Law Certificate. While attending law school, Mr. Siegel served
as Treasurer of the Veterans Law Society, competed in the Jessup International Moot Court
Competition, and participated in the Entrepreneurship Clinic and Community and Transactional
Lawyering Clinic. After receiving his law degree, he clerked for the Honorable Frank Testa in
the Family Part of the Superior Court of New Jersey, Chancery Division, in Camden. He began
his legal career practicing healthcare and cannabis law, drafting and filing pleadings across
multiple jurisdictions and assisting clients in opening cannabis dispensaries and other cannabis-related businesses.
Mr. Siegel now focuses his practice on civil litigation, representing clients from initial
case assessment through resolution, including drafting pleadings and discovery, taking and
defending depositions, and trying cases in both bench and jury trials. Prior to his legal career, he
served as a Corporal and Team Leader in the Army National Guard, including a ten-month
deployment to the Horn of Africa in support of NATO operations. Mr. Siegel is admitted to
practice law in New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
